Bouquet Study: Wholeness and Deconstruction
Here a bouquet begins as a silhouette, and then we move in a little closer to a single daisy. Now some of the flowers are on an old table, then floating in water, a few petals are coming away, resting softly on the surface. Suddenly complete deconstruction of the daisy in water, spread out almost creating a pattern.
It’s interesting to take something soft, delicate, and beautiful and put it in an unusual setting. To play with light and water. What does the lighting say to the observer? The pulled apart flowers? The water?
