Queen of Cups In Transition

From advocacy to art. I will always be a cheerleader for accessibility and improving navigation of the rehabilitation and medical world, but it is important, even healing, to explore and strengthen one’s core skills used to help move through those challenges. For me that is Creativity.

I am in transition from being an advocate for the medical and rehabilitation needs of my family, to giving more of my time to being an artist and art enthusiast. Being deeply enmeshed in the medical system and advocacy world (visual impairment) has sensitized me to the need for more creative outlets, creative thinking and problem solving, as well as the need to deepen awareness and empathy. I personally access these concepts best through art and the creative world.

We often lose track of who we are and where we are going when we distance ourselves from what truly speaks to us, and I believe art is one of many channels to access that. It just happens to be what I know best.

I am currently exploring:

  • Various services/evaluations in areas of need for creatives and entrepreneurs.
  • Art collection. (Let me help you find art that helps you inside and out)
  • Therapeutic art (relaxing, expression, non-clinical).
  • Creating connections to the people nearest to us, community, and to self through the arts (community arts work).
  • Deepening our daily experiences and awareness through expression and absorption of art in its many forms.
  • Increasing our playfulness in life through art and the creative process, all which help us to approach problems with fresh eyes and minds.
